Ideal situation if a central location required, very tastefully and expensively refurbished. Helpful and friendly owner and staff, lovely breakfast room and buffet. Highly recommended.
The location is great. It's in the heart of a great part of the city - very vivbrant and fun area. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The staff is amazing. The breakfast is a feast! We loved it.
Kind and knowledgeable staff. It can be seen that the hotel put a lot of attention to details; very well designed spacious rooms and breakfast room. The balcony of our room facing the main square was wonderful, relaxing, and offered a great view of Piazza Tasso! Despite the noise outside and the bustling nightlife right under our room, the room is completely soundproof, and after closing the balcony door the nightlife stays out. Everything in the hotel is still new, as the hotel opened 2 months ago. Breakfast is abundant and rich, though maybe it could be improved with some biscuits/omelettes.
We travelled for 6 weeks in Europe and this was the best bang for our buck. The staff is excellent, professional and yet caring, and aware of your needs. The rooms are spacious, and the design detail is modern, refreshing, and very welcoming. The breakfast is delicious, the breakfast room is also very tastefully decorated. Agatha the "Breakfast Queen" was always smiling and very helpful with our febble attempt at Italian. The owner Ariane and her other counter staff were very helpful in arranging tours and directing us around the city. We booked for 3 days and ended up staying 6. This is a new hotel and congratulations to all those that created this masterpiece of luxury, and affordability.
Excellent and friendly stuf, brand new hotel in perfect location, very nice, spacy, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Extreme value for the money! Highly recomended!
location in the main square. This was the centre of Sorrento as far as i was concerned. The room was a very good size and just recently painted and decorated as the hotel had been opened only 1 month following an extensive refurbishment. Ideally suited for a short stay for a few days up to a week. No pool or bar. Although hotel is situated above a large bar/restaurant.
Depending on room location there may be some noise from the traffic although i did not experience anything
Wonderful service - Great rooms - Fantastic location - Great breakfats and good value for money. A perfect place to stay in Sorrento!
The hotel was wonderful. The room was huge, clean, very well designed and, for Italy, reasonably priced. We really loved the breakfasts, and all of the staff was wonderful.
The location was very convenient, right on the central main square, but, obviously with that, you get street noise. So sleeping with windows open was out of the question. But, when the windows were closed, you could hear almost no outside noise. And the air conditioner worked fine.
Excellent hotel in a perfect location - all new, nice modern room design, super-friendly stuff, located right on the main square so you don't need to drive in the evening. Highly recommended.
Excellent location, great staff and wonderful hospitality. Perfect one night stay in this family owned, fully new refurbished lovely hotel (May11). Perhaps the best breakfast that we had during our trip to south Italy. Taking the breakfast at the terrace is strongly advised. Located at the town center, now sea view but close to everywhere. Price is a little bit higher but it should not stop choosing Jannuzzi.
Loved the location on the main square, the fact that it's new, and the apartment with the private, huge rooftop terrace!
It can be a little noisy from outside activity, but we had a sound machine and ear plugs.
The location was fantastic and the room really big and spotlessly clean. We thought we had booked a room with a balcony and chairs through you and our documentation said that we had but when we arrived at hotel we were told that you had it wrong and we were given a different room without balcony and chairs. The room we were given was still beautiful with French windows overlooking the plaza and Maria compensated with a bottle of wine and nibbles for the misunderstanding. We booked an additional night and got balcony room and it was so nice sitting outside watching the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Would recommend anyone staying to get balcony room 11. Breakfast staff were very happy and friendly and food was good. This is a nice hotel in a very good location.
Maria (with glasses) was fantastic and so helpful but the other girl on in early mornings was not as knowledgeable and couldn't provide much information but it may have just been a communication thing as she seemed friendly enough. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to others on our travels.
The best bit is the location of the Jannuzzi Relais. Its situated in the main square in Sorrento, central to everything and directly opposite the Vittoria (beautiful 5* hotel with great pool). Although its in the middle of the hustle and bustle inside the hotel is totally serene and perfectly cool (the air con level was just right for me). The other great thing was the new design throughout the hotel and the room itself. It was very light and spacious (we had friends staying at the Hilton and you can't even compare) a huge bed, goose down duvet, nice bed linen, beautiful big windows with shutters and a decent sized bathroom again with a with a lovely big window and a great shower. It was also impeccably clean.
Breakfast wasn't very impressive. Although the dining room and the terrace where we ate was really lovely the spread itself was a bit disappointing. I would have been happy if there'd been a fresh fruit salad each day but the only fruit on offer was basically a bowl of apples and an uninspiring plate of melon. Breakfast is definitely not this hotels strong point but don't let that put you off staying here! There is a lovely cafe/bar under the hotel called Fauno and you can sit and eat whatever you like and watch the world go by - or grab a juicy peach from a fruit stall instead! Another slight negative thing about this hotel is the lack of pool (of course we knew this before we booked) but if you want to use a pool you can pay the Hotel Vittoria 25 Euros a head to use theirs with sun beds etc (fully recommend this) There is also a cheaper pool you can use at another hotel which charges 15 Euros but it wasn't as nice.
Hotel is beautifully designed, new and in the very center of Sorrento.
We were a bit dissappointed about the breakfast: choice of fruits and pastries was quiet poor if we know we are in Italy!
My mother and I found this to be an excellent hotel. It was extremely clean, very helpful staff and a wonderful location over looking the main square. It was perfect for us.
